SVOX speech solutions available for Microsoft Auto 4.0
SVOX announced immediate availability of Speech Recognition and Speech Output solutions as part of the Microsoft Auto 4.0 platform, according to company’s CEO Martin Reber. Customers that use the Microsoft Auto platform can enable speech in their products by deploying SVOX Automotive ASR and SVOX Automotive TTS in various configurations.
“Consumers want solutions that are easy to use, and speech technology plays an important role in providing a simple, easy to use interface for in-vehicle infotainment systems” said, Greg Baribault, director of product management and marketing for Microsoft’s Automotive Business Unit, “Now, with the SVOX Automotive suite included with the Microsoft Auto 4.0 platform, it is easier for automakers and suppliers to evaluate and develop speech enabled infotainment solutions with SVOX technology.”
